Basic Glass fusing and  Glass Slumping

     This 2-day hands-on workshop covers the technical and creative possibilities that can be used when fusing and slumping glassl.  We will discuss glass compatibility, firing schedules, studio safety, and the choice and preparation of molds used to slump glass.  Students will have access to Bullseye frits, powders and stringers, which can be used in addition to the sheet glass while designing their original glass creations.  Students will have an opportunity to create, fuse and slump two glass plates or bowls. No prior glass experience is required.
