Introduction to Kiln-formed Glass-

     This introductory series, offered over a period of four sessions, gives the beginning student an overview of 3 different glass fusing and glass slumping processes.  We will start with the glass cutting process and move on to create a piece of dichroic jewelry, a decorative plate and a wall pocket vase. The student will also be introduced to some basic 'cold-working' techniques in order to produce glass objects that have a 'finished' appearance.  No prior glass experience is required.
